The one thing I do not see anyone factoring in here is the possibility of an across-the-board tax cut. If things in the economy look like they are heading toward a recession, it makes Bush's job of selling a tax cut all that much easier. The Demos will not want to stand in front of the American public and risk looking like they were the reason we fell into a recession.

DOB - Earlie was spot on. Anyone following his August advice would have a much healthier portfolio today.

He may well be right about the tech slump having only just begun. I fear he is right. Takes something to get out though and face the possibility of having panicked. Greed leads to loss and in this case will take us all on a ride to 1,500.
