Hey, I did good today :) -- sold at 48 at 10:09, bought at 49 accidentally when I meant to put a stop. Only seem to have lost $150 for the day. Which I don't understand -- lost 1 point on 5 ES contracts. How does that add up to minus $150? But hey, from $3K/day to $150/day is a move in the right direction -- even a monkey could have done that (a monkey did . . . jeez, stop vs limit . . . )

Most likely is a V shaped or a one way up. Early high at 10:40ish, mid-day low at 12:50ish and a late High at 15:30 or the close. I did find one day that was a one way down day. In that pattern the morning high was at 10:05, earlier than the rest with a 12:45 mid-day low and a late day high that came early at 13:45 with a tail to the close. This pattern will likely present if the high is early and the mid-day low is much lower than the open.

Hard to pattern today as anything can happen with the FED.

However, I do like the early long, off the open for about an hour and then the sell at that point. After that it is somewhat up in the air and although the best trades in terms of points can come later in the day, they are the most likely to be whippy trades.

PS - I have an idea on a way to get Tom to finally join us. From now on we should all post to Tom's last post:

Message 13488141

This way his mailbox will be filled and the least it will do is begin to annoy the heck out of him. In order to make sure the person we wish to post to is not missed, just start out the post with:

<<FILL IN NAME HERE TO WHOM YOU ARE POSTING>>

Then post whatever you want.....

How about it? Shall we fill Tom's mailbox. He will feel wanted that way.

Patrick, Today will be a much better day

I mean compared to yesterday it can only improve. Sometimes when I'm working on an unpleasant task, I need to step away for a bit, during that time some where in the back of my mind, I'm still thinking about the task. When finally returning, usually I'm more refreshed and have better results.

Just a thought :)

Busy day for me, see ya later today.
