The search continues. Please keep us up on what you find. Just got a call back from Zap. Same company line, we are the best and perhaps you need to try somewhere else to see that we are the best. Nice story, but with all the traders on this board I suspect we can come to some solid conclusions about a firm to use that won't invite problems. I hope. Wonder if Temple still reads this board? If so, Temple, care to add your two cents? You got me started with ZAP...would be interested in your thoughts at this time. -Scott

LVL, you would make a fine judge, you exam quite a bit of the evidence, weigh as many factors as possible, and ya keep an open mind about the process. I seem to have a bias in my thinking for the moment. I like Refco and am leaning towards selecting their services and Leo platform. Still working on selecting an IB, but that shouldn't be too difficult as Refco has quite a selection. And like you said, it's changing every week practically. I just need to avoid salesmen. Text speaks louder than words. Question for you, does Refco use a consistent IB policy between the entire group (of brokers). I know commissions/fees will vary, but regarding the Refco Leo Web platform and how orders are taken, tracked, executed, connection with direct access, ...? Oh yeah, I must be missing something with the Best platform. What is the major difference between Leo and BestDirect? I'm willing to allow a minor concession here, but do not want to miss anything big. Now, if ya already posted this a thousand times, then forgetaboutit :). I'll figure it out eventually.
