You believe that Clinton committed perjury when he said that he didn't have sexual relations with Monica, but in truth, got a blow job. THAT LIAR! THAT'S TREASON! and "ACTION" AGAINST THE STATE!

"Derek is pretty much correct in saying that we could not just pull out"

The only problem with your statement is that it has nothing to do with what D. Long said. He didn't make mention of ending the war, he only gave false reasons for starting it.

Once more...

The foolish "Fear of Communism" combined with our very misguided superiority (We are AMERICA! - We'll show those Orientals who's the boss!) made Vietnam into what it became.

This didn't come from one person.

The war in Vietnam came from what people B E L E I V E D.

And if you agree with DL and also state that you opposed the war at the same, then you've given new meaning to the word that best typifies the Right.

The word is hypocrisy.

Suffice it to say that perjury is not ordinary "personal lying"....

"There are no American combat troops in Cambodia. There are no American combat advisers in Cambodia. There will be no American combat troops or advisers in Cambodia. We will aid Cambodia. Cambodia is the Nixon doctrine in its purest form...." - President Richard M. Nixon, November 1971

And what do you call this???
