BTW, I think Bush will nix the idea of forcing SDLI to sell
it's Zurich plant. Bush will say:
" Get out of the way of businesses.
Off with the heads of paper pushing bureaucrats!"


BTW, if Bush can do this without even being President
imagine what he can do when he gets in,

JDSU WILL BE CLOSING TODAY AT 50'S AND IN THE 70'S
AT THE END OF THE MONTH AFTER MERGER ANNOUNCEMENT
PLUS ANOTHER CUT BY THE FED. POSSIBLE SPLIT (2x1) WILL THEN
BE ANNOUNCED.

If anyone missed the surge, as I did while having coffee at my local hang-out, a friend suggested I look at ALAO --- Alcatel Microelectronics. Since it's primarily traded in France, it's still almost unchanged on the day. If you buy, be careful with your order as it's pretty thinly traded here. ALA is the world leader in fiber optic submarine and near the top overall, so it's not a flash-in-the-pan type of investment. And for full disclosure, I just took a small position.
