I bot bbh yesterday in the big drop, wish I would have bot emc though am pretty well invested at this point just looking to add financials and if the market lets me drug stocks, but they have to go way down for me to buy. I just sold my pfe at 49 may buy that back around 40 or so if it gets there.

Greg, I for one sense more than just a little overexuberance here. Perhaps extreme over-exuberance.

I full expect these gains to retrace at aleast 30%, possibly 50%. People on Vendit's thread are predicting Naz 5000 by next April.

I say this rise will stall, it was far too steep, and there will not be a FED to pull the markets up next time. Perhaps a rise to about 2800, people will see that BRCM will be up 70% in a week and get nervous. The bears will jump back in and we retest yesterdays lows.

That is my scenario, and I expect to have CSCO and RIMM puts in place on any stall. EMC's PEG at 3 is too absurd for me, no matter how far it has dropped.

Yes market phsycology has changed for despair to overexuberance on an announcement we all knew was coming.
I was on a thead yesterday, everyone was so excited, the bottom is in, what to buy etce tect etc. Gee the time to buy was yesterday not today. Some people never learn.

Unbelievable.

I ask the following question from various posters from long term holders to traders, bears to ultra bulls.

<<I have question for you. What's your take on the rate reduction and the market going forward? Also, how do you plan to play it? >>

Here is what they say.

Here is my answer. We will be in a Teflon like environment for sometime, where bad economic news will be considered good still until around the summer sometime, after which the economy better be turning around by then. The PC industry will dead for sometime, defensive stocks will be sold off and money will move back into tech., the wireless sector is going to take center stage as net II the wireless additions is shown on a tiny screen near you <g>, telecom will now recover and consolidate. I'm nearing fully invested at this time, I and will be adding on dips as I see fit.
