Gary, I am for one thrilled that you will be posting here. I know that you said you might be starting a new thread on microcaps. Do you still plan to do so? I have you bookmarked on both SI and raging bull and read your posts everyday. You sure are right about it being a tough year. I was fortunate enough to have some very large capital gains in the begining of the year. However by the end of the year they were wiped out. I did buy back many stocks at lower prices and look forward to a better year. Ernie

Hi Gary, I'm glad to see you found your way into the kitchen. I'll be looking forward to your views as this market turns around. You're right, we are truly in a falling interest rate environment now. The Gov is going to get very serious about turning the economy back up. I would venture to say no that even the Bush tax rate cut will face less Democratic opposition. I like to follow the advance/decline line and the new highs vs. new lows. The half point interest rate cut really made some improvements there, and from what I've seen of Greespan in the past, he can get quite aggressive when he feels the country needs to see that the Fed is serious about getting the economy going. What do you make of all these wall street analysts and their tech trashing lately? I'm taking this as a positive. I mean where were these guys six months ago?<gg> I am guessing that tech is ready to roll now. --Coz
