<Notice that the price per minute is not that far from current levels...> Bob: A year ago just like others on this board he was foreseeing an SP price of a buck or so, which I don't think is the case now. He didn't foresee SP misbehavior, and neither did we. G* either didn't tell him the truth or lied to him [let's ask Clinton if there's a difference], which is what we got from G*. The guy's human, and in looking as far down a dark ill-lit road as possible I feel he is as good as they come. He makes mistakes on whether individual companies or technology actually make money, but the impressive thing is that the technology he touts almost always works and is an improvement from a TECHNOLOGY standpoint. I don't know of any major exceptions to this. He has picked some poor companies with good technology, but no one bats a thousand. We might as well blame Babe Ruth for all those strikeouts he amassed on the way to hitting his home runs. I'm grateful for JDSU, QCOM, ATML, which all help to pay for my losses here. I don't think he's evading responsibilty. On his board he said "brother, was I wrong". Adding further explanation isn't evasion, IMO. Blaine K

Bob: There is a guy over on Yahoo "who claims that he used to work at Qualcomm, then Ericsson, and postures himself as a CDMA expert" that has been saying the same thing.. The "economics" and the "technology" are far superior to Iridium!! Blah! Blah Blah!.. But, his error is that Gilder and himself never calculated the "economics" of the Retail Pricing Structure.. Only the Wholesale Pricing Structure!! That's the "economics" of the system.... And of course ole' "G G" in now claiming.. "I told everyone Globlstar is a perilous stock".. He blew it!! Plain and simple. He refused to look at the hard data coming back and analyze it in a "non-biased format".. That is what you should be paying for his advise for.. Someone who sits back in a non-biased format and provide guidance.. That is what you need when you own a stock.. Because if you own it.. You are probably not un-biased.. IMO PCSTEL
