I wonder what we should have discussed about Jesse Jackson? Does anyone think what he did was a good thing? Now if more people were masturbating fewer people would be having babies. I say we encourage men and women of all ages to masturbate more. I never saw anyone try to discuss Shakespeare here. I have a special interest in the Bard of Avon. One of my favorite plays is Twelfth Night, followed by Much Ado about Nothing, and As You Like IT. Lear is magnificent, but so very sad and on target for human frailty- it is a difficult play to watch. Henry the V and the Tempest are also wonderful. I always felt Titus Andronicus was the perfect Shakespeare play to be made into a movie for the modern generations weaned on Friday the 13th part XXX, but it should have been directed by Wes Craven, and not Taymor.

Poet, I was reading the RW thread, but am stopping because I'm finding that the peculiar obsession with LWers, particularly X, to be strange and upsetting. GZ has recently posted, not only misquoting X's heroin comment,(changing best painkiller to just best) but also implying that she is a substance abuser. I have no idea where heroin falls on the hierarchy of effective painkillers, but while there were many responses eager to insult X and the LWers stand on drugs or masturbation, none offered a single scientific rebuttal or intelligent response. There's some pretty nasty stuff about X, and this desire to demean and hurt her borders on obsessive. He writes: ...funny that I saw that same post about heroine (sic) being 'the best' and I just posted that comment on this thread as you posted your comments to me...<g> such a position on drugs can be well understood within the context of a poster attempting to justify his/her own drug and substance abuse...
