Mark - I have a problem I've never seen before:
At times I get multiple images on my screen when surfing the net. It could be graphics, text or both. If I use the scroll bar or refresh it seems to "smudge" it and create further multiple images. Sometimes it seems to be triggered by stacking commands, clicking a hyperlink before the last one finishes loading, other times it just seems to come of its own accord. I keep 6 or 7 windows open and it only happens in one at a time. the only solution I've found so far is to shut that window down or sometimes shut system down and reboot. I've tried to take a screen capture of it but it seems to even disable "Snagit"

1. what operating system are you running?
win98 128mg ram PII400mmx 16MB Banshee Video
2. what browser do you use?
MS Explorer 4
4. how long has it been happening?
1 year and getting progressively worse
5. what are you doing when the prob occurs?
stacking commands I think
6. any error messages accompanying the problem?
NONE
7. what have you tried so far to remedy the problem?
Had to reformat HD and reload everything once, now cropping up again. owned computer 2 yrs

Appreciate any help you can offer
thanks

Hey mr mark,

Do you remember a few months ago, we were discussing the mysterious appearance and resurrection of "Comet Cursor"? No one knows where it came from and how to get rid of it.

Check out this link for the solution to this mystery. It was RealNetworks!
