Hi Karen,

It was suggested that the behavior itself be described, sans judgement. For example
"She came to school dressed inappropriately"

should be
"She came to school dressed in a halter top and short shorts, which are in violation of the school dress code"

Things are "cool" or "uncool". I just read Poet's response. Now in that situation, the outfit sounds cool, but perhaps not acceptable under the rules of the school. It gets tricky.
