chic,

If the bad data is all over the place but the market remains stable that actually argues against your point. Seems to me a burp of good news sends the market higher. Your entry however is a good one so long as CSCO doesn't break to $45..... which it could very easily do on an ounce of good news. I thought for sure CSCO was going through $45 this week but it doesn't appear it's going to happen. I will say this though - it would appear that CSCO is building some consolidation/base here around 40/41.. it's made two attempts at $44+. So, watch that carefully. Chart is intact as long as we don't print $39... and even then $35 is good support. It just appears to me that the CSCO security is building some steam here. BWDIK...

BTW: the other thing to watch is 2700. I suspect we may bounce off that level.

Maybe so, maybe not. I sold a little more Crisco today. Even if we run to ""

Crisco? Crisco? Damn Chic, I use the same brand for breakfast!

could have seen the top of this run...i'm sure they will try to jam it into the fomc meeting then sell it off again.

csco under pressure again as high inventory levels in the fiber sector are a sign of bad things ahead.

The jam job is all over the tape on the stocks I am trading lately. ADBE, CHKP, NUAN, AMCC etc.

I expect that we won't see a real hard sell off until it's clear to the slow learners that the economy can't be fixed with a bunch of rate cuts. This time it is different and it's just like 1929. Big bad debt going to eat us up. Greenspan will be shown to be helpless as this bubble market and bubble economy spins back down on him. economy recession and earnings recession on the way and p/e's still reflect a belief that will be have a crazy bull run ahead.

chic, 2647-2656 is the next level and below that 2572-2593. If it goes below 2496 I saw we go to 2375. But that is too far into the future.

Monty

BTW, nice candle yesterday. :-)
