Good Scott, I hope they stick...!

Someday I've got to move to a platform, and by then you'll have them time tested.

Have a Good Weekend,

Chip

Scott - have not that straightforward opinion on BestDirect.

But yesterday evening, all my browsers kept searching for the pages. DNS was working OK, but apparently had something to do with either their own cache, or Akamai.

Every other Layer 3 application were running fine: QCharts, Taltrade's CME free realtime quotes (streaming Java) and BestDirect.

Only problem I have with BestDirect is to be logged in too long: apparently, the server outs you after a prolonged period of inactivity (speaking of several hours). This is usual procedure on large networks: new users will be logged in in replacement of the one with the longest inactivity period.
So, it is a good habit to logout when you are inactive, and connect again when you expect to trade.
Can't call this a problem, as it is common to large networks.
And it is certainly better than beeing queued or delayed somewhere in the Web.

Exactly what I meant with Web and browsers.

My last message was submitted and I almost immediately got a "server not found" error message.
As it happened before, I opened SI in another browser only to find 2 consecutive identical messages: 43606 and 43607, the present one that I am editing.
Would I have been on a browser trade platform, this could mean that I would have sent 2 orders and still receive an error message, then re-entered a third one.
Resulting in 3 orders (at least) for the same side.
