Michael,
If you are a retail broker, does that mean that you can be anyone's broker who opens an account with your firm? So, conceivably, any of us could solicit your firm to become your client, right? With all the explanations of your ideas and strategies, you have already been performing much of the work I would think that I would pay a full-service broker for, except the executions, and you've been doing it for free! It is about time you got paid!
/Kit

Congrat Michael

Are you sure you can work more than 2 hours a day?<G>

You will be sorely missed if you stop posting because of work committments. Why just your humor is worth the price of admission to SI.

MB -

Best of luck.

...So, why this decision? I feel a need to be involved in markets and explored many other ideas of how to do that.

You make it sound like you can't take semi-retirement. -g-

Are you sure it's not the lure of risk-free trades that never lose with OPM? -g-

Regards, Don

Dammit, why'd you have to go and do this? Now I will have the pain and hardship of having to think for myself.

Whatever, congrats on finding a gig you like, and very best wishes. Thank you for some fine picks and the contra-cheerleading.

Mike,

Durn it, now I'll have to change my investment strategy description on my profile page from "Do what Mike Burke says on the Ask Mike Burke Thread" to "I'll have a better idea after Mike gets out of his 3-4 month training program and I find out where he ended up."

Best of luck, and thanks for sharing with us your actions and insights so consistently over the years.

Incidentally, I decided to use my gains from your last Brocade tip to fund the purchase of an 8yr-old Buckskin QH for trail riding...the question now is how the hell am I gonna pay for feed?

Best,
Doug

MB: Been swine-tied lately but thanks to AntMan I heard the good news. I'm sure you'll find great success, as hard work and honesty are all it takes to be a very good retail broker. (Of course, your intelligence and morals may work against you, but I'm sure you'll manage. <g>) Good luck with your new undertaking.

If you can't or don't want to post where you're going send me a PM so that I might introduce you to some of the characters I know on the Street that may be with your new firm. I have to trade with Fido--company policy.
