Sarmad, an interesting observation, it support my tenet that most of the inventory bulge reported by SNDK was indeed on retailer shelves. The fact remain that their "OEM" business has not grown much, or actually contracted in the last quarter (their retail business grew rapidly, but overall shipments were barely 4% above the prior quarter, if memory serves).

I can't find a single unit available...In my opinion there is no general glut in flash memory.

Where on earth are you looking? Two minutes at Cnet showes 256 MB CF is in stock at Egghead, Outpost, CDW, etc etc etc, from SanDisk and from competitors.
