From my earlier post: " I'm simply repeating that I don't understand and trying to get refocused on the essence of the disagreement, which I think is about the source of rights." Message 15327134 Yes, my choice of rights is based on reason and ideas, like yours. In fact, they're based on very similar ideas and reason. But my rights are just a potential right until the social contract affirms them. So what is it that gives force and legitimacy to your RIGHTs? Karen
