Invite you folks to join the new battle when inclined ...

Message 15353904

Message 15354674

As CSCO, by and by, will slip beneath the waves (though I fully intend to trade it marginally to capture the energy released from its bopping around before the final plunge).
Chugs, Jay

I am long Cisco and going to stay that way...I bought into it again. It is going to be fun now watching all the Cisco shorts..

yea...I know you guys are daytraders only and don't hold overnight positions; meaning your bearish positions can never be questioned.

I am long Cisco and am going to stay that way until it hits at least 40...then will scale back a little. Of course, i will always evaluate my position regularly for short term trades but i plan to ride this to 40+ with some trading.

Accept good bearish comments but this arrogance....and harassment of people like Phoenix and Eric is pretty stupid.

Btw--i actually learned a little from you guys but please be civil.

Bambs,

First of all let me say that when you so desire you contribute good solid information concerning Cisco and the market in general. Sometimes you are right and sometimes you are wrong. Your predictions of the market have been fairly accurate lately and for that I will pat you on the back. Now the bad news. You seem to get some kick out of pursuing and degrading certain individuals on this thread and possibly other threads. When will you realize that no benefit comes from your nasty remarks and finally it's over, face it Bambs, it's over. You win. Cisco is down (for now) and you have chased away other contributors of information. You win, now I hope that makes you feel good and boosts your ego even higher than what it is..........and don't come back and say "well they started it". It makes you sound like a third grader.............Be a man and let it go.........

bambs, RE: I think the SEC needs to look into theses bullish stock hyping, long term buy calling posters that haunt these threads. I know that some posters are paid. I know that Gary/Phoenix would never answer clearly when I asked him if he recieved any compensation for posting on SI.

You "know" that some posters are paid? How do you know this?

It is certainly possible (even probable) that people have gotten paid to post on a small cap stock thread. But the odds that someone is paid to post on the CSCO board, bullish or bearish, is about zero. This board has zero effect on the price of CSCO, and no one with enough money to pay a poster to consider such an endeavour would be that foolish. If they were, they wouldn't have their money for long.

"Paid bashers" are a bull myth. Please don't perpetuate that myth by maintaining something like Gary supposedly getting paid to post bullish information on CSCO. It does no one a service.
