Just realized ... the storm will be made worse as America does a Monday holiday at an inopportune juncture, leaving the rest of the world to fret in its fears one more day before NYSE shows the way forward, upward or downward.

Jay> "..., eventually making its way to Europe where folks tend to be more conservative and have more memory ..."

Well intended, but the bubbleonitis has been contangeous. See New Market in Germany and European Telcos - German Telecom, #1 in DAX, has yet to produce a profit. Imagine ...let's see... GE not being able to tell its PE, because it's losing money (maybe T would be a better example ;\)

Well, how come? Because tellcos were buying bandwidth like there's no end to it. To do what? I guess to let us watch Maria, the vestal virgin of CNBC, on our PDAs.

Gofer> Oh, Canada... it hurts. And looks like it will hurt even more. Nepean, Brampton...

The US markets is closed Monday. It's President's Day and we will all be out celebrating Bush. He'll think of something Presidential to do on that day.
