Jay, It is a shame that all that venture capital went to fund foolish business models & excessive telecom spending. But I doubt that the world will suffer a heart attack of historically rare magnitude because of it. Cycles come & go and although much money was wasted on this one, I suspect, in the end, it will produce some lasting benefits. We need to work off some debt & foolishness, but I don't buy the doomsday scenario. People/economies are resilient. Lots of people think we are headed for a major recession/depression, but I doubt it. Hopefully everyone learned their lesson...until next time. That said...tomorrow will likely get ugly.
