It's on pages 120-122. Here are quotes from the text (these are from 1994 Jedec meetings): "HP objected saying loudly "The trouble with this committee is that we are pulling things from the air, we standardize them and then come back saying "Shit, this stuff doesn't work." I will have no part of this method of setting standards." and: "Wiggers reported that there had been no progress made on SD-RAM Simms. He said they have actually made negative progress, as they have found [new and additional] problems and are now seeing new proposals needing consideration. The long and the short of it is that they are really not getting closure [closer ?]. Privately participants are saying the GTL stuff is causing the stuff to fall apart at high frequencies. Noise, buffering, etc. are the problems." and: "Gil Russell made the comment in the meeting that the more the bandaids are being applied, the more the results are looking like Rambus. No one said a word, you could have heard a pin drop." Guys, this is the smoking gun. These are from Jedec meetings in 1994, AFTER the Jedec standard [that Rambus voted AGAINST] was passed in 1993. You know, that's the standard that Jedec adopted in 1993 that never really worked, but from which Rambus was supposed to have stolen the technology of its 1990 patents [how's that for a time-line ?]. Not the standard that actually ended up being put in place in 1996, which was really an Intel standard to fix the Jedec mess. These are the meetings from which Rambus STOLE their technology. This is the smoking gun. Oh, by the way, it's being held by the Rambus opponents and it's pointed AT Rambus, but so be it. Hyundai wanted this stuff made public and they got it. As the old saying goes "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it." Here is the link: rambusite.com
