The better analysis is that in the free market of ideas Liberalism/Socialism cannot make a sale. It must be imposed by government fiat, i.e., NPR, or by government regulation - the pre-1980's FCC or by the Liberal hegemony that has existed in the national media for decades.

But with more choices people are free to choose. Even the massive subsidies of Big Labor to hate speech advocates like Hightower did nothing to spread their influence. Just as extremely unpopular organizations like Big Labor continue to decline despite their political control of the Dem Party.

Ultimately, an inferior product won't sell in a market where there is free choice and some intelligence.

AM "hate" radio

I listen to 790 KABC (a Disney station) and believe it is the most conservative of the LA talk formats.

Morning-Dave and Amy middle of the road human interest.
Al Rantel-Gay and Conservative (from Florida)
Gloria Allred (liberal) and Mark Taylor (conservative)
Larry Elder-Black and Libertarian
Mr. KABC-Liberal in my view
Mitch Albom-? author
Leo Terrell-liberal civil rights attorney.

These are the political hosts.

flap

I do not listen to Rush. I prefer G. Gordon Liddy. Yea, he is a ex-convict. He does not mind discussing any part of his past. So far as to end up with defamation of character accusations in the past year. He won the case hands down and has proved that Watergate was a mission in which the targeted material was "hooker" records. The records were kept in a desk of a secretary at DNC headquarters. She has been shown to be a likely "pimp" for the DNC big wigs.

Anyway, that is a entirely different topic. The point of this post was to tell you he is on FM band. So your fears of spreading conservativism through the media channels are real. Hope you sleep well tonight.

Surveys have shown that most Web jockeys are conservative or libertarian. The computer is not a hot medium. What it is is an alternative source for those dissatisfied with the major media, and also a place where those particularly interested in politics can come together. Maybe there is a similarity with Talk Radio.......
