Bill Gates is building a huge development in Costa Rica. Maybe you should understand that the productive people of this country would leave in a moment if offered more freedom. In the future those governments that offer freedom to people will prosper. Years ago Canada was in the top 7 countries of the world in wealth. Today it has fallen to around 30th place. What it did was grow government and entitlement programs and escalated taxes and social redistribution of wealth (of course without the redistribution of work or effort). Many of the productive people fled to the US. My uncle a very successful doctor left Canada along with scores of others.
If the US is bent on becoming another Canada watch the brain drain out of the US

There was some speculation on this thread a while ago that the high percentage of overvotes in Palm Beach (4.2%) was caused by Democrats fraudulently double-punching Bush votes to invalidate them.

The Palm Beach Post's count of the Palm Beach overvote should put that idea down once and for all. The overvote was caused by bad ballot design confusing some voters into voting for Buchanan or McReynolds by mistake and then trying to "correct" their vote, combined with some voters who couldn't figure out how to vote at all.

Far from showing many Bush-Gore overvotes, as the fraud claim implied, the largest number of overvotes where two candidates are selected are for Gore-Buchanan or Gore-McReynolds.

Gore-Bush overvotes: 5330
Gore-McReynolds overvotes: 2908
Bush-Gore overvotes: 382
