I still believe that this market has the ability to bounce back.
Much of what you are hearing on the news, reading in the papers and on the message boards is just adding to the illusion.
Bad news sells papers and bring in ratings. Much of the panic stems from them and is not based entirely on reality.
Joe Six Pack is beginning to believe all the hype. Many are talking about buying Puts and shorting. Others who were praising Greenspan are now blaming him. Everyone is looking for someone to blame when the actual fault lies with themselves. Account management is the furthest thing from their minds when it comes time to buy or sell.
I can't tell you how many times I've read the Greenspan doesn't know what he's doing.
He knows exactly what he is doing.
He's reading economic indicators and adjusting policy to fit the demands of today and of the near future.
He will find the right mix to keep us going in the right direction.
For the first time in 10 years we see a slow down and everyone believes it's the end of the world.
There is still so much potential growth left! Look around.
This technological revolution isn't over. It's exhaling and inhaling.
I suggest that many of you remember to exhale and inhale nice and slowly a few times before panic causes you to do something you may regret later on.

Again, I've been wrong many times before. Use your best judgement in what would make you most comfortable and certainly do not panic especially while making a decision that can cause you further pain and anguish.
Figure out if you are a trader or a LTB&H investor and act accordingly.
Try to find some balance in life and in your portfolio.

Don't take this as a personal attack. It's not meant as such.
