The popular media would have us believe that. Street.com suggests that hedge funds are in control of things, pressing their bets.

On the other hand, they also suggest that palpable fear exists that funds are facing massive redemptions due to fear, poor performance (ya think?) and tax season coming up. They also suggest that non-tech holdings will get squeezed as well since they are up, relatively speaking.

It really is do or die time here on the SPX. COMPX too I suppose, but if things break down its my guess that SPX comes unglued faster, percentage wise at least.

I didn't. I figured that there has to be "room" for something in between meetings, since the next one is not due until May. Also, I think Greenie wants this to look orderly, not panicky.
