Carl, it sounds like you're about ready
to sit down, have a least 3 drinks and
listen to some night music.

Go ahead and do it - its "night" somewhere.

Famous Amos,

That was cool.

I like stories about cookies.

Got milk?

Just a question or two because I'm slow...

Is there another way for you to describe this in a way that I can understand better?
Seems like you are saying that you are not going to follow the market any more nor attempt to retire early.
You are going to simply go about life spreading good cheer and warm thoughts. Certainly nothing wrong with that.

Actually I understand that you will survive no matter what happens. And you'll be happy regardless of the outcome.
But how does a shlub like myself ever see the possibility of retiring early if we can't try to get a handfull of the cookies...

I sort of understand what yer saying, but I also sorta don't...
Help me figure it out.
Don't be afraid of over simplifying it for me. I want to understand what yer talking about.

¡Arriba NNBM!

So it's a good thing I didn't ask you to accept blame for the rain as well...

Aw, hell. No scepticism. Great post, sir, truly great. Here's to cookies of starlight and stardust... and the starburst mind that calls them into being for us....

Stardust

hmmmm... if it sparks this kind of thinking and resolve, i guess this is a wonderful climate after all

Yup, there is always a lot to be thankful for, if you take the time to look.
For example, I'm sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Money Managers Poised to Buy Polvie's New Cookie Recipe

Thursday March 29 10:38 AM ET

By Nick Olivari

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Computer and telecom stocks may be reeling, but money managers are poised to buy. The trouble is, no two fund managers agree on the best bets.

Some say buy companies that dominate their market; others tip large-cap companies that have been crushed in the last year. In fact, the only shared belief is that three Federal Reserve (news - web sites) interest-rate cuts this quarter, totaling 1.5 percent, will stoke economic growth and drive corporate profits higher later in 2001.

``Our current theme is big,'' said Howard Kornblue, a fund manager at ING Pilgrim Inc. which oversees $20 billion. ''Eventually the rate cuts will kick in and things will have to improve.''
