I suspect that their notion of "apology" is much different than ours (in the West). To us it's an admission of guilt or defeat. So silly. This is already uglier than I thought it would get.

It's not a question of bullying china. I think US is kowtowing the chinese right now. For what? Fails me completely. If there is a trade deficit with china, surely china should need US more than the other way around?

The US corporations should be ashamed of advancing their own cause at the expense of american pride...

Just IMHO, of course.
