Jim, et.al ... always had a suspicion that this decision by the FCC represented a successful lobbying effort by some of Wi-LAN's competitors to erase the advantages of Wi-LAN's lead, and delay the success of the OFDM Forum.

That is exactly my view since the day "that" paper ran the FCC item as if it were management misrepresentation.

The press' inability to analyze Wi-LAN ever since then strongly suggests to me they ( the press) were manipulated.

Some one told the paper where to look, and what to write. It had to come from an organization with a close watch on FCC decision making. Just trying to find that sort of info today on the FCC site is hard for us; someone knew where to look/ask.

However, as an investor, it is a good long signal, especially at today's prices - imo.

Excellent Points, Jim. After reading about your several
"associations" .... I would say that Wi-Lan turned
a Near Disaster , into a Minor Setback, and than came
back with Revenge, in the form of a Killer MCDSS Product.
( Teeth of a Piranha , eh )

Thanks for recalling & analyzing these happenings.

Old, weak in mind & memory, Mardy.

Hi again, Jim.
I had completely overlooked the Mystery Backer & the resulting damage to 4GNT as a possible effect of the
FCC's two consecutive Wrong Headed decisions..

I think my posts are even more relative now ..

So I am referencing them ..

Edit (6 min left ) Remember the dismal failure of that
major bluetooth operational test.
Imagine if these stupid new FH units were involved as well.
