from the ms kb article i just linked for you... "This behavior can occur if you have the Speed Disk utility from Norton System Works 2000* installed on your system."* from the symantec support site.... "not all current Symantec products are certified to run under Windows 2000 or Windows Me" and this table says... "Norton SystemWorks 2000 is not compatible with Microsoft Windows Me" service1.symantec.com if you are running nsw2000, we now know you can't get there from here :) mark
