Bob,

re: "I wonder why ML seems to be trying so hard to purge INTC and MSFT from their retail system."

I agree on Osha and Intel, but I thought Sherland (sp?) was fairly positive on Microsoft, especially after they beat his earnings estimate? He seems more like a straight shooter.

Hi Bob, RE: "I wonder why ML seems to be trying so hard to purge INTC and MSFT from their retail system. "

Why do you think this is?

edit: just saw Tony's post. I keep forgetting that brokerage firms tend to have a short-term focus.

Regards,
Amy J

Bob, It's amusing to see Kurlak and ML at such odds over INTC. I wonder why ML seems to be trying so hard to purge INTC and MSFT from their retail system.

Intel I can see having some short term earnings problems. But Microsoft...they probably have hit and will continue to hit good numbers better than any other tech. Wish I'd bought more in the forties. Is ML really down on MSFT as well?
