Joe: The question is who has been fabbing 760 (and 760MP) in the past and who will in the future. A good guess may be that AMD made them in Austin and is moving the production to UMC.

The AMD760 chipset was made on a .25&#181 process, so I doubt they would be from Austin (since AMD has stated that Austin was fully converted to .18&#181 quite some time ago).

Joe
president of UMC made an announcement that UMC is currently making chipsets for AMD and at this point no plans to make processors.
