i noticed when i use my yahoo email (still free ho ho), that there are advertisements that pop up. how new is this and will this alienate users ?

i'm already getting irritated with the ads myself.

one of the ads was for flowers. i don't get it. doesn't everyone in the usa already know one eight hundred flowers and would phone them if they wanted to send flowers to loved ones five states away ?

Idle thoughts on how to become famous or not.

I post all the time on the Amazon thread. I like to believe some of my posts have content but then again I do not make enough time to focus. In either case, you have not posted on the Amazon thread for a long time and it seems you are the center of attraction.

As you know from meeting me, I do not like to get involved in that kind of "stuff" but I am sure jealous of the attention LOL. It reminds me of a marketing comment I always heard years ago. Publicity is great regardles of what it is about.

On that note, I thought I might add that my opinion is the Fed cuts have kicked in and the consumer is spending strongly again. I do not know if it is borrowed money or daily income but I do know the economy is ready to move forward due to that fact. Look for strong retail sales for the month of May. A large reduction in general inventory overhang and a carry through to cause a need for capital spending.
