You're sitting awfully damn close to CA (AZ no?) to be so snotty and smug re: "free markets." Until you bleed green yourself the point will probably be lost on you. Didn't AZ experience some power price spikes related to CA this past winter?...Ho...ho...ho...Just wait my friend. I reitterate-- Message 15766467 This is becoming an object lesson in "greed and power" in more ways than people imagined going into it on the front end. My state is approaching dereg by first attempting restructuring beginning with transmission. Somebody's paying attention to what the lesson of "free markets" is teaching in CA even if you're not.
