Yes. People have lost much of their life savings already ... ...even those who didn't 'speculate' ... or 'manage their own investments' using full-service or online brokerages ... via the 401Ks set up to relieve their employers from providing pensions <lol, what an antiquated concept>. Now, those people are losing their jobs. "Things" are terribly bad ... yet no one wants to admit it. What do you think (or anyone <g> ... this is rhetorical) is going to happen to those with no money to begin with? Meaning, the 'poor' people? Typically, the racial minorities in this country, anyway ... as the minimum wage jobs dry up ... Taco Bells close as fast as they sprouted; landsapers, builders, you know... supply side crushes hard on the way down. That Reagan thing. Do you find that rather strange? I do. The 'future' has become totally a coin-toss for those whose lives -- and of any age -- the young adults needing to establish an income-producing job and preferrably for them a reliable income-producing career; the 'boomers' who find ourselves in a most precarious position as our age makes us competitively undesirable ... and 'god help' the retirees on fixed incomes -- are dependent on ... well, the U.S. economy. bia
