Btw, I felt that the question about memory trends from AMD's perspective was a valid one, since they are becoming a significant force in the computer sector and set the architectural standards for the application of their processors.

fyi, john, i appreciate your having posted the article, although as a ramboid I didn't agree with it.

I'll tell you what, one thing that's pretty clear is that Rambus riles people up about as much as any other small company in history.

Been there. Done that. I visit those people frequently but Buffett gets most of my attention lately.

RDRAM is the future. RMBS fits snugly into Gorilla Game investing which is what this thread is all about.

Knowing that you are familiar with RMBS' issues because you read such informed posters as Scumbria et al, your post #42686 leaves me with the sort of feeling I get if someone lets there dog poop on my lawn and isn't courteous enough to clean it up.
