Robert O, you are correct naked PUTS can be risky, but the
potential short term gains are 2x-4x. I will sell to close
soon and use the gains to buy longer term PUTS. If the
option goes back to even I will sell and nothing lost.... I
use TA charting to guide my investment decisions supported
by industry economic dynamics as the catalyst for the
volatility/momentum selection....

Robert,
I always thoughts buying naked options was risky business. One piece of news against you and you can lose your entire investment. It should never be referred to as "Buying PUTS has little risk and doesn't tie up much capital." as Big Bucks would have us believe. It may tie up little capital but it may lose it at a 100% rate as well while not offering a long term to wait for to be vindicated. And i am talking about calls here as well as puts. Mike
