Ben Gurion and his beloved kibbutz... Zeev Hed, A very clever response to my land and tilt *till argument. To borrow ex WH speaker J.Rubins expression in another context "campaign of duplicity" you guys surely are the masters of argument.In fact you are as good as 1 000 000 Jesuit Universities ever could be. The whole idea about the kibbutz was no more as a simple come on to appease the British while playing up on world opinion. And they had to swallow the " Brooklyn bait ". Had truly no choice as otherwise they would have been bombed out of Palestine themselves. Belfast style. However Ben Gurion did not promote that working the land is equal to build apartment blocks and town houses in occupied territory to enlarge the state further. Or did he? Regards, ED
