Adding to shorts pre-market. I'm short term bearish. Still mostly cash. 35% short 65% cash. A move above yesterday's high @ 2250 would turn me bullish short term.

If California environmentalists hadn't scrapped the nuclear plant at San Onofre, we'd have power for a million more people than we do now. I'm all for a clean environment, but when people are moving in to this state at such a rapid rate, you have to be able to provide the infrastructure to support their living here. Some of our politicians have been very short-sighted in this regard, IMO. I hope they get thrown out of office after the next election.

California will not or cannot pay for the electricity they are consuming.
Suppliers are getting very nervous about providing more to them when they are way beyond any reasonable measure for clearing their accounts payable.
These arrogant turds in CA are now trying to avoid paying or stall payment to BC Hydro, who broke their own credit limit of $100 million, to supply California when it was in trouble.
Some thanks. I hope they turn off all exports until they get payment in full and then it'll be cash or 10 days payment terms.

It's hard to imagine anyone arrogant enough to claim that it's someone else's fault they don't have power, when they haven't built a generation plant in 10 years in their own state. California is the definition of NIMBY, for sure.
