Here is the URL to a Yahoo LMNE MB post with a URL to a 24 page M-L May 8, 2001 report on FSO. I was able to print the M-L report, but haven't had time to read it. It covers majors players including OPXS and even mentions MRVC.

STEALTH MODE:

GREG: You and I are probably just two different characters interested in different things.

When I look at the various MRV websites I see:

-- product coverage
-- who we are background
-- employment

If you reread my posting, you will see that the questions I raised are not these, but other issues.

Maybe you are not interested in these other issues. However, I am.

Namaste!

Jim

<<if one wants to know about the majority of the subs, can't that person just go to the MRV.com site and view it for themselves?

OK Greg, lets take Optical Access. Is Optical Access both an equipment provider and a service provider? I think NOT but I can't tell from looking at the OA website. I know they make the transmitters receivers and switches, but what else do they do? Do they actually do the installations? Do they design and build the FSO networks? Do they provide the internet connection as a service? Are they also an ISP? Do they even sell directly to end use customers or do they sell only to FSO network integrators such as Davnet and Tellaire? Terabeam claims to both sell the FSO equipment and provide the networks service. I think it is the only company of the 13 to have clearly made this claim.

I will be looking forward to you answers.
