Where the hell is everybody on this fine thread? I know Alex is out celebrating the Lakers win, but that leaves everyone else... Finally read Trading in the Zone by Douglas. It just entertains me to no end when he describes how the typical novice trader thinks. I guess the main point that he makes, and one that runs through this thread like a spine, is that without understanding the mental aspects of trading, FA and TA won't help a trader make money. It's almost like giving a bigger gun and more ammunition to a guy who constantly shoots himself in the foot.
