Interesting timeline on the California power crisis... What I don't understand is how wrong the bipartisan effort was in their analysis...

I doubt that caps held electricity prices at 1/3 of the normal cost of electricity... If that's so, then California is getting what it deserves... If that is not so, then the power companies are guilty of price gouging,,, I wonder where the truth lies... Or are we just getting lies from both sides... There is a fair rate for kilowatts per hour paid across the country... Hopefully the Geniuses in government and industry can come up with a figure that represents fairnes until regular market forces kick in...
