For that we need something that will shock the whole ant colony and kill enough of them that maybe what remains of the house can be saved.

You have no right to impose your world view on your fellow citizens. As a citizen you have in your toolkit a vote and a voice in the marketplace of ideas like everybody else. The toolkit does not include a truckload of fertilizer.

I pray that you are taking a position to see how well you can defend it. I fear you are sincere.

Anyone who does not appreciate his good fortune at being a citizen of the freest civilized country in history, and talks coyly of shocking the "ant colony" of bureaucrats by "killing enough of them" to perhaps save the "remains of the house" (the country), even though there might be collateral damage, is beyond the pale. Such bloody- minded nonsense is deserving of the severest censure......
