I consider true oppression to involve something more. A modest limitation of choices, or the need to complete some paperwork, though it may be annoying, and even a cause for reform, is not on a level with forbidding participation in the political process (as in tje denial of the ballot), or selling one's children away, or being financially ruined due to racial laws (a la Nazi Germany), or being forbidden access to segregated hospitals (even in emergencies).....I am just arguing perspective......

In my locale, as long as you knock the house down and start construction w/in one year, its a matter of right. Pretty much the same throughout NH. As I recall, same in Mass. too. You left coasters need to get with the program.<g>
