<<AOL had about as much need as they did for Netscape some time back. I do believe Amazon will need another $100 million for Q1 2002.>>

AOL anted up this quarter, who will be the sucker next quarter?

If, as you hypothesize, AOL is going to own AMZN, why don't they just buy up the bonds?

Regards,

Stephen

Just as many claimed here, the cash numbers announced last quarter made no sense. From The Street:

"[Amazon] appears to be burning cash faster than expected [...] Amazon said it expects to have $600 million in cash on hand by the end of the third quarter and $900 million by the end of the year. Notably, these were the same amounts the company targeted before the $100 million cash infusion from AOL. "

>Hmmmmmmm....does this bust up your and Glenn's little bet?
Lets talk to Glenn, but I don't think so.
We might need a couple of volunteers to form a grand jury to decide if Glenn should go to trial for sneaking out of this bet.
Would you consider being one, if I paid you enough?
