I think 40% for AMAT is about right from what I recall in the SEC filings. I am happy with the rare dividend that they currently payout. Not many tech co's pay out dividends, even those that do, are a fraction of what HELX returns to investors. I like their attitude of returning the money that they aren't able to use efficiently back to their investors.

I am willing to wait out and hold onto this one for awhile. In a sense the dividends are a way of rewarding the patient people who sit and hold waiting for the next up turn. Yes, currently this company is tied to the semi-cycle.

Does anyone know how much of an of this downturn will have on conversion to 300mm? From what I understand some of their sales is generated based on the need for re-tooling for 300?
