They should just sell all athlons for $100 to the OEM's. Let them decide what they want to sell but all athlons $100. Make All Durons $60. End of Story. Constantine

Andreas that would make a-1.4Ghz considerably cheaper than p4-1.1Ghz and on par with pIII-800Mhz. That is depressing but OTOH with ibm out of the picture amd is probably out of their last deep discount client. Regards -Albert

Andreas...Looks like prices are falling on an hourly basis. I've been checking prices on these parts almost daily. Doesn't look like I'll be buying back AMD stock anytime soon. As a consumer, it is amazing what someone can put together for a fraction of the cost of what we might pay just a year ago. Regards Ed P.
