Kirk, OT *** heroes

We were talking about Americans as a group and now you introduced an even larger group, Europeans, and made sweeping statements about them. That has to be flawed. Rather than continue the obesity thread, I'd like to introduce the topic 'heroes' by pointing to a USnews article. usnews.com

***OT*** I couldn't agree more about obese Americans...and people wonder why they find themselves immobile at very early ages (60's)! Investing in your health (diet, exercise, regular physicals, spirituality, etc) will pay a lot more dividends than the best stock we discuss here. Another OT related to a previous discussion...last mile via wireless...here's an interesting letter to Barron's from one of the QCOM regulars:

"Here most take the Monster Urban Assault SUV to get the paper at the end of the driveway!!! "

A comedian recently said, "They are all buying SUVs out there in Silicon Valley, with the roughest road the SUV will ever see is if a women drives over a divider hump in Lucky's parking lot".

That and Joe Isuzu watch the Jeep owner bash his window broken by the rock tied above this front end.

Strikes my funny bone.
