I made some money in REITs last year, but have stayed away from them this year. This poster has similar views to me on them: Message 16239357 Rural (farming areas) have been stagnant for many years. They will make out fine. 'A Country Boy Can Survive' as Hank Jr. sings. <g> Many US small towns/cities that depend on manufacturing have been hard hit already in the past decade- as the manufacturing has moved out of country. Toffler's 'Third Phase' has not been pretty for local US manufacturing based economies. > We don't exactly live in a getto< I bet not! Probably have a palace (and I bet it's paid for too). <g> TW PS- Nice move in LU today. The 1 yr. chart is looking more and more like a 'U' bottom. I'm holding for now. Maybe deflation has gotten a ST reprieve here.
