Tench,

The 2GHz P4 has higher SPEC int AND fp scores than Itanium, what's with that?! Foster w/2MB L3 cache should blow it away. Didn't Rob bring up this potential situation some time ago? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Itanium is 64-bit and is paving the way for McKinley.

PS: I don't understand why you continue to respond to Pete. Sure he has points once every 20 posts or so, but you gotta read an essay to find it. Watch you get a 5 paragraph reply to your one line response. ;)
