For a total unstable system experience, I recommend going back to Windows 3.1, upgrading through 95, 98 and finally, the piece de resistance, Windows Me.

Ouch! I never upgrade. I just buy a new computer. I have no patience with bugs. In June I bought a Dell Inspiron screamer with ME. Browser has crashed a couple of times a day since the day I got it. But at least it crashes really, really fast.

Quit upgrading. Save what's important, add some SDRAM and start fresh with Win2000. It's like a breath of Heaven, comparatively.

After reading your profile, I bet you already knew that. I get thirty lashes with a wet mademoiselle for posting before reading.

LOL. I made that trip from 3.1 to 95, which provided...

...enough irritation for a lifetime. Gave up when '98 was required by clients, which is the only reason I upgrade anything, ever. Bot a refurbished DELL at that time which came with '98.

SirRealist: I've heard 2000 is full of bugs. Not true, you say?
