Or maybe- "qualities I want in my friends"- that would be one category.
Qualities of a good neighbor- which are probably less onerous.
And the baseline- what makes you a good member of society?

Sometimes I think honesty is very over-rated... or perhaps it's one of those qualities that should be heavily leavened with kindness. Too often it's used as a weapon, a justification for hurting others.
I was trying to figure out some way of saying somewhat more concisely "Has strong set of personal values but does not condemn others for failing to live up to them".
BUt I guess tolerance and integrity will have to cover that.
I like humility too. NOt the grovelly kind, of course.
